Enterprise Exploration

Enterprise isn’t just another word for business or a ship in Star Trek…it’s a term for the main group of software tools companies use and that you’ll encounter during your internship. You may have used some of the tools in school but many might be new to you.

Some common enterprise software platforms include Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Both have many tools and features that enable each employee plus teams of colleagues to work on projects and communicate with each other.

Your task:
Research the products offered as part of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace and create a table or an outline for a short presentation where you compare the two options.

- What are the main tools for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations?
- What are their email tools and options?
- What tools might staff members use to collaborate and communicate with each other?

Note: If you can touch base with your internship manager or the coordinator of the program before you start, ask what tech platforms the organization uses.
