Picture this…time has flown by and it’s the end of your internship! Celebrate what you have accomplished, think about who you have built connections with, and consider how you are going to incorporate the lessons and experiences you have learned into your next steps. This is also a good opportunity to express gratitude and lay the foundation for staying connected with your manager after you leave.

In addition to sharing your appreciation during your final conversations with your manager, sending a thank you note is a great way to wrap up your internship. Then, make sure to check in with your manager periodically to stay in touch.

Your task:
Using the following thank you note templates for inspiration, draft a thank you message you would send to your manager at the end of your internship and a short message you would send six months afterwards.

Add your thank you note draft to the Skillbuilder text box or share a link to a Google doc (make sure to set the Share settings as Anyone with the link > Viewer).
