Have you ever ordered something online, only to find out it didn’t fit or look the way you imagined? Virtual fitting rooms are changing that! With new AI and AR (augmented reality) tools, you can “try on” clothes using your phone or computer before ever hitting add to cart.

What it is: Virtual try-on technology uses your camera or a digital avatar to show how clothing might look on your body. It saves time, reduces returns, and makes online shopping more personal. Fashion brands are racing to develop better digital fitting rooms, and this could transform how we shop, design, and even think about sustainability (fewer wasted clothes = less waste in landfills).
