Get Social…IRL

One of the biggest benefits of an internship is who you get to know. Forming connections with your manager, coworkers, and any other interns is helpful during your internship and can open doors in the future. The idea that your network has value is called social capital and now is a great time to build it!

Part of building connections involves communicating with people you don’t know yet. Luckily, as an intern, you now have something in common with your coworkers…you’re all part of the same organization! The strategies shared in the video are all ways to get you started.
