Make Your Own March Madness!

Every spring, the NCAA hosts March Madness—a high-stakes basketball tournament where 68 college teams from across the country compete to become national champions. The teams are placed into four regions: North, South, East, and West. They're seeded (ranked) from 1 to 16 based on how strong they are, and face off in single-elimination games. That means: lose once, and you're out! After several rounds—Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final Four—only one team is crowned the winner. It's fast, fierce, and full of buzzer-beaters. You're in charge of your own 8- or 16-team tournament. But instead of college basketball teams, your bracket can feature anything you want! Choose a category below—or invent your own:

Choose Your Tournament Theme – What’s your bracket about? Give it a fun title (like March Mammal Madness or Snackdown Showdown).

Pick Your Competitors – Choose 8 or 16 participants and rank them (seed them) from strongest (#1) to weakest (#8 or #16).

Divide into 4 Regions – Create categories like North/South/East/West, or use your own ideas (e.g., “Jungle vs. Ocean” for animals, or “Pop vs. Rap” for music).

Play Out the Tournament – Decide who wins each match-up until you have one ultimate champion. You can base it on your personal opinions, real-life facts, or even random chance!
