AI tools like ChatGPT, DALL·E, and Suno can write essays, paint pictures, compose music, and generate videos. Some students see them as shortcuts. Others believe they unlock new ways to express ideas and experiment creatively. Schools everywhere are debating: Is AI killing creativity or reshaping it?

Your Task:
You’re a student asked to reimagine creativity in the AI age.
Choose one classroom project: writing a poem, designing a poster, making a video, or composing music, for example.
Imagine how AI could help with this project (what’s the shortcut?).
Imagine how you could use AI as a creative tool (not just to finish faster, but to make something unique).
Decide: Is AI in this case more of a shortcut or a new form of expression? Why?

Write a short response (5–7 sentences) of how AI would change your chosen classroom project.
Do you think schools should encourage AI as a creative tool, or limit it to avoid shortcuts?
Would your project feel less “yours” if AI helped make it? Why or why not?
