It's decision time - you're all set to get your hands on a credit card! But, which one do you choose? It's like a new offer pops up every day in your mailbox! They're all unique, some have fees, others have fancy introductory offers, varying APRs (annual percentage rates), or reward programs! So, put on your detective hat and do your homework before signing up for one!

Your Task:

  1. Consider how you would use a credit card. For example, clothes, food, entertainment, gas, books, phone, cable, etc. It’s helpful to create a budget based on your monthly income (from a job, an allowance, etc.).

  2. Determine your priorities for a credit card (incentives, fees, etc.)

  3. Analyze and compare credit cards (use the sites below or others).

  4. Select your top three credit cards (1 being your first choice). For each, explain why you selected that card.
