Phones, apps, and social media keep us connected 24/7, but sometimes they also make us stressed, distracted, or glued to screens. That’s why some people try a “digital detox,” where they take a break from technology for a few hours, a day, or even longer. Studies show this can improve sleep, focus, and mental health. But giving up your phone (even for one day!) isn’t easy. Could you do it?

  • Imagine you’re planning a 24-hour digital detox.

  • Which apps or devices would be hardest for you to give up?

  • What would you do with your time instead?

  • How do you think you’d feel at the end—relieved, bored, anxious, or energized?

Write your “digital detox plan” and explain how you’d spend the day without your usual tech.
