First Day Dilemma

Let’s say, you're super excited about your summer internship at a gaming company. You’re an avid gamer and esports player. You can’t wait to work with others who are also passionate about gaming. This internship is a dream come true for you!

You’re ready for your first day of work with a fresh haircut, a new outfit, well-rested, and you did your homework by reviewing the company website. Your first responsibility of the day is to meet with your boss. You’re in her office, talking about the work you’ll be doing and who you’ll be working with closely. She asks how you prefer to work: in-person, virtual, or hybrid (both). You tell her you’ll think about it.
