Groundhog Job Shadow Day

Woohoo! It's Groundhog Day! Every Feb. 2, the elite members of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club get their finest threads on and head to Gobbler's Knob, the official home of Punxsutawney Phil, just on the outskirts of town. With bated breath, they await Phil's grand entrance from his burrow, and if he catches a glimpse of his shadow, it's six more weeks of winter for the whole village!

Feb. 2 isn't just Groundhog Day, it's also National Groundhog Job Shadow Day! This is the perfect chance for students everywhere to get a bird's-eye view of actual jobs by following around extraordinary scientists, daring firefighters, grease-monkey mechanics, and brilliant doctors, to name a few!
