One of the best ways to do that is with an eye-catching thumbnail—the image that viewers see before they click on your video. Just ask Mr. Beast, the YouTuber with the most subscribers in the world (over 313 million!). The thumbnail can make all the difference between a video that gets overlooked and one that goes viral!

Your Task:
Imagine you’re a YouTuber, and you’ve just created an awesome video about something career or school-related—like tips for getting straight A’s, a day in the life of a future engineer, or how to rock your first job interview. Now, it’s time to design a thumbnail that will make everyone want to click on your video.

Create Your Thumbnail: Use Canva (or other graphic design tool) to design a thumbnail that grabs attention and makes people curious about your video. Think about colors, images, and text that will make your thumbnail pop.

Name Your Video: Come up with a catchy title for your video that matches your thumbnail and makes viewers excited to watch.

At the end of the activity, share a link to your thumbnail design and video title. Remember to adjust the sharing permissions to allow anyone with the link to view your design!
