Across the country, airports are starting to say goodbye to bland, generic food and hello to local flavor. Airports in cities like Austin, Portland, and New Orleans are now featuring popular hometown restaurants—giving travelers a taste of the city before they even leave the terminal.

This shift not only boosts the local economy but also makes travelers’ experiences more memorable and personal.

Your Task:
Your local airport is adding a new restaurant—and you get to decide what it is!

Pick a local restaurant from your area (real or imagined), and write a short pitch convincing airport planners to include it in the terminal.

In your pitch, include:
🍔 The restaurant’s name and what kind of food it serves
✈️ Why it’s a great fit for your city’s airport
🌎 A short description of how it reflects your region’s culture
🧾 Two signature menu items that would be big hits with travelers

If you have time, design a mini logo, menu board, or welcome sign for the airport location!
