Mentor Manners

If you’re working on a KnoPro Challenge, hopefully you’ve taken advantage of the mentor feature. With the mentor feature, you can ask a professional a question or ask for feedback. Or, maybe your school has mentors that come to your class, or perhaps you have someone who you consider your mentor. Mentors come in all shapes and sizes!

Since a mentor is a professional who is likely very busy, but who is passionate about working with youth, you want to make sure that your interactions are appropriate and worth their time.

Your Task:
Look at some examples and complete the multiple choice quiz to determine if the student questions are appropriate or not for mentors. After answering the questions, copy and paste one of the five questions in the text area and explain why you think the example is appropriate or not appropriate.
