Ready, Set, Robo!

Big news from China! For the first time ever, humanoid robots participated in a half marathon, racing alongside human runners. These high-tech bots weren’t just rolling around—they were jogging, pacing, and balancing just like real athletes. While most didn’t finish the full 13.1 miles (some overheated or shut down!), the fact that they ran at all is a major breakthrough.

It shows how far robotics has come and raises interesting questions: Will robots one day race in the Olympics? Could they train athletes? Or even join gym class?
