Shining a Light on Black Innovators

Start by thinking about what gets you excited. Is it tech? Art? Science? Music? Politics? Pick any field that sparks your interest.

Use Google or your school's online library to find a Black pioneer who's done something awesome in that field. It doesn't matter if they're super famous or not; what matters is their impact.

Task:
Write a short shout-out (one or two sentences) about this person. Drop their name, what they're famous for, and something really cool or important they achieved. Make it something that makes you say, "Wow, that's impressive!"
