Every successful startup has to explain what it offers, what makes it valuable, and who benefits from it. A startup is a young company built around a new idea, and most spend their earliest months testing whether people actually want it. Founders often pitch that idea to investors in a minute or two, which is why it’s called an elevator pitch: you’re supposed to make your case in about the time it takes to ride one. This year, you’re the startup, and the new school year is your launch.
Your Task:
Build a mini pitch for You, Inc.
Value Proposition: One sentence on what makes you valuable (“I’m a creative problem solver who brings new ideas to group projects”).
Top 3 Strengths: Three real strengths you bring, like creative, dependable, organized, or a strong communicator.
Your Customer: A class, team, or club that could benefit from those strengths, and how.
Elevator Pitch: Put it together in a 15-second pitch you could say out loud.
