What if your eyes could see more than humans normally can? Scientists are developing infrared contact lenses that could give people “super vision.” Normally, our eyes only see visible light, but infrared lets us detect heat signals, like how night-vision goggles work. With special nanotechnology built into contact lenses, people could one day see in total darkness, spot warm objects through smoke, or even read heat patterns that reveal information invisible to the naked eye.

Your Task:
Imagine you have infrared contact lenses for a day.
1. How would you use this super vision in your school, community, or future career?
2. What are the exciting possibilities—and what concerns might come with this tech?
Share one way you’d use infrared contact lenses and explain how they could be helpful (or risky).
