Youth Voice Counts

During an election year, it is more important than ever to make sure that your voice is heard. One way to do this is by voting if you are old enough. Another way to do this is by sharing your thoughts in public meetings or spaces like social media. Work with a classmate, friend, or family member and brainstorm a top 5 list of issues that you think the next president should focus on. These issues should be things that affect all, or most, people living in the United States, or which are urgently needed even by a smaller minority of people. Take turns coming up with your top 5 list and then compromise on a final “top 5” list that represents both of your views.
